Joseph Porsche in Cincinnati / $85.5/hr
I just bought a car from them and it was in the service department, ticket indicates this is their rate.
Not looking forward to South Florida rates....live around fort myers but am leaning towards Suncoast.

Let's see, the Porsche dealership I go to is $110/hr but the shop I take the car to is $90/hr. I take it to the shop for all mod work and oil changes as well as brake pads and tires. I take it to Porsche for warranty work and they fixed the rock in the suspension for a reasonable fee. They charged me less hours than it actually took.

Orbit Racing, $105/hr, but their guys can do the work with there eyes closed.

High end independent shops can be more than the dealer. But it's because they end up with much better techs then the dealer and they are particularly versed in aftermarket suspension/engine tuning/building. The place I go (GMG Racing) is $175/hour and worth every bit of it.
Edit - just looked at my invoice...GMG is $167/hour. Cheaper than I thought!

As a dealer (Volvo & Mack trucks), I can tell you that "door rates" at new car (and truck) dealerships are largely based on market area for the purpose of reimbursement of warranty work by the manufacturer. Therefore, as a dealer, we want the highest "door rate" as possible. Trust me, OEMs make up for this by strictly limiting the repair time.
Most rates for labor ops are based on the actual work to be competitive with all similar shops in area. Maybe door rate for highly technical work requiring the best tech but substantially discounted for other work.
