Hi Stef,
The extremely low CO implies either a really lean mixture or hot cat. Did you happen to measure Oxides of Nitrogen (NOx)? They tend to skyrocket when you get CO that low, and we can't pass tail-pipe tested emissions here with anything above normal NOx (not to mention the annoying eye burning typically associated with high NOx... its what people usually sense when they think a car isnt using cats.)
I have no problem with ultra-high quality 100-cell cats, I'm just a bit of an old emissions test geek from when we had to try and get souped-up cars passed that were on the line.
For awhile there was a on-dyno "road course" that testers had to do complete with hills and stop signs. You had to know who the testers were that could keep the car out of boost (hydrocarbons).

NOx levels were nice and low. My ECU is stock, mixture was perfect and temperature of cats was normal.
I have over 100.000 km now so I’ll do a new test shortly and post results later on.
Cheers

Well, today I decided that I will work with SAMBOTT...I think his reputation, knowledge and customer service (noted by me through forum presence/involvement) and many happy customers ensured me that this is the type of company I want to work with for my $180K machine.
If this makes me an *** kisser, then Sambo please start pulling down your spiderman undies...LOL
Thanks,
E-Gear

Would have been happy to debate catalytic efficiency and exhaust quality with you, but you went personal on someone who has earned the friendship of a lot of people around here.
As for your "speaking the truth", you are merely relaying stuff you've heard from your "techs". There are lots of folks around here who have had EP, and many of them have also had Tubi, Kline, Akrapovic, Fabspeed, BBi, etc. etc. as well. Those who apparently know a lot more than your techs also know that almost all of these manufacturers use HJS and EEC 200-cell/inch cats (including Kline). No one here is worried that HJS or EEC 200-cell cats aren't doing enough catalyzing, and no one here thinks that EP's 100-cell/in. cats are less likely to throw a CEL code than a 200-cell HJS. It just isn't anything that anyone here has experienced and it's the precise opposite to logical reason.
Do we have a problem with EP? No, not at all. Several folks here use them. But is their quality superior to a Inconel Kline? Is the sound better? No. Its about the same, and you're insistence, as a proxy for your "techs", is pretty annoying.
But then you got personally insulting someone who's been a good friend to lots of folks here, and the 0 became a -1.
