I've used sound waves for years now. They are pricey but do good work. Are you from that area ?

Decided since it is in for service to change spark plugs too. Car has 13k miles on it and I have been told that life expectancy with a tune is 10-15k miles. Using OEM plugs.

Did you use same OE plugs, or something different. If different, what did you use?

OEM plugs. Champion uses them in all its cars.

Wanted to get all my preventative maintenance done before the summer driving season and the rigors of taking the car on Corsa and Cannonball Run Rally.

This is bumming me out. Given the miles I put on mine, the odds are this will happen eventually.

The inserts you added look good though. Nicely done!

Thanks. Honestly with all the rally driving I've done and driving meets I'm shocked it didn't happen sooner. Went about 13,000 miles and about 15 months before it happened. I know people to whom it happened almost immediately. I actually think the mesh grill covers make an aesthetic improvement.

I agree. Happened to me at 7xxx miles. I posted this elsewhere but for anyone on the fence this is just the center radiator alone.

I think Porsche should take note of this and consider a design update for the future.

That would be nice. Almost Everyone with this car eventually gets their center radiator or condensers destroyed by rocks

Curious how those ALPs tested with only 2 heads against the Dragon?
