Rock destroyed condenser -- got mesh installed on all front grills
As with numerous other members here and nonmember a rock went through the massive front grill openings and destroyed by condenser (I realized that when I turned on the air conditioning for the first time this season and the car was blowing boiling hot air).
The dealer was kind enough to replace my condenser under warranty but said it would not be able to do so again. So I ended up getting black mesh grill coverings installed on the front grills. Here are the pictures:
While I was there I had the annual service, oil change and brake flush done. Replaced OEM brake fluid with Castrol SRF racing brake fluid. Brake pads were still really good (8 mm on front and 10 mm in front). And the Pilot Super Sports still had 5 mm of tread left.
Now car is rally ready for the Corsa America Dragon 1100 rally and the Cannonball Run Rally this year.

Any idea what brand they are, or if they fabricated them (don't see any mention of grills on their website)? I've been looking for some quality grills.

I am also a repeat customer of Park Place and had bought 3 cars in 14 months from their Porsche and Benz dealer. I had the Turbo shipped in from Rusnak while on business and after that they haven't been kind since

Whoa, blast from the past! I know the owners of Sound Waves pretty well. I used to get ALL my stereo stuff from them back in the day. They even did a few pretty trick custom stereo installs for me on various cars. Big subwoofers, custom trunk layouts, all the fun "boom boom" stuff...lol

Unfortunately car is still in dealer as it has another HVAC-related issue. Car was blowing cold air with no heat on a cold day so likely a defect in one of 6 valves that handle this. First mechanical problem of my ownership -- about 15 less than the one year I have owned the E63 S AMG sedan
