MY turbo went 144.23MPH in 1/4 mile last night
So I ripped of a 144+ mph run on less than perfect day at the Sacramento yestaurday. Thursday I went to have my DR installed and found out that the shop that was stored them Lost them so they are ordereing me a new set. I decided to go to the track with my stock pzeros on. First run DA was 2150 and temp was 94. I could not launch control car would just blow the tires away so I started from an idle I just stabbed it was off to a slow start spinning tires in first and second and again in 3rd a wild ride but the car was pulling and pulling hard I knew the trap was good I could feel it results 10.38 @142.61 not what i wanted to ET but speed was awesome, Next run I lowered the pressure i little less 34/32 to try to hook up a little better and in the middle of the run I knew it was running strong you can feel the difference just in 2mph at the track I was getting that push in your chest through the lights. When I got my slip the lady said the tower called and I had 2 choices either I was done racing or I could qualify for my NHRA license so that exactly what I did I spend the rest of the night doing 1/2 and partial runs for NHRA approval.
Car flat hauls *** this was no 1 off time or middle of winter 50 degree/negative DA run with a good prepped track. Track prep was crap, 94 degrees and a DA of 2150. I have no doubt that on a crap day with DR my car will run 9.80 all day long. Cant wait to see what it will do with DR's and a good day! Thanks Sam for all your help and thanks to Mitch and Jon and Cobb

Super excited Mark! Glad you went out even without the tires because now with the NHRA lic it's on! Great work with your By Design Stage 4 and cheers!

Congrats Mark! Insane. From what I understand, these pdk cars trap higher when they hook off the line. I can't wait to see what you do with tires and better conditions.

Wow, that is freaking awesome.
Let me know next time you go to Sac, I am in Tahoe and would love a drag night out. Up here, we have very high DA tracks But, Hot August Nights is coming up, which will be very cool, well hot, but nice.

Awesome speed Mark! Did you try launching the car in normal or just sport mode? It reduces your rpm's so you can hook better. After that, hit your sport plus button (if you can) after launch. Can't wait to see your ET after you get the DR's on.
I thought I was going to get my car tuned from Rob while he was back from Dubai, however, he decided it was to difficult of a tune due to the turbos being 3579's. The car have a list of faults that puts it in limp mode so I'm sending it back to Sam so he can work it there. When you try new things, you have to work out the bugs which is what Sam will do. Once done, he will work with Mitch concerning the tune. Hopefully, we will get everything straight and down the track in the low 9's!!!
Why did you have to do some stuff for NHRA?
Jeff

Sam the car is a flat beast it just never stopped pulling over 10mph faster than last time just in the 1/4 mile that shows you the power it's putting out, this car is gonna put out some big numbers in the 1/2 and Mile.

Mark, It's tough to handle! I enjoy getting out seeing the people and tracking the TTS. I have been running the 918 and gt3 but want the TTS!!! I just hope these turbos work as expected. I might not need the nitrous but just in case, I'll have a 200 shot on hand. When is the next event out west?

It makes since the faster I can get to 60ft the faster and quicker I will be at the end.
I will be back in a few weeks
