'Lil Red' Evo battles " Sam Bydesign Stg 4 " Porsche 991 Turbo S on the street!

911 is just relaxing as that little EVO is all wound up and working for it...... he was like,"PDK this!!".
Nuff respect for that EVO owner he earned that win man!! That my friends is what street racing used to be, talent man, not just letting a computer win the race for ya.... that guy is a true runner. He didn't let that PDK go anywhere between shifts and that little short ratio EVO had a lot of shifts!
I would love to know if the 991 is on pump gas or race gas?

He earned it for sure. And you can tell he made that video as a trophy. The TT was on pump around 600wheel. So we are looking at about the same power or maybe 5% more on the EVO that was running E85. Old-school lightweight short shifting madness versus new school GT car technology. That was cool. I bet that evolution is a blast to drive but for me at least that was years ago LOL

Then time for a rematch with race gas verses E85!
Just had a crazy weekend with me working each gear vs a TH400, V8, 88mm turbo, 2300lbs, 81 RX7!
That EVO reminded me of the built motor, head, cam, large single Talon I ran this weekend! Talon was running anywhere from 33psi pump/meth 640AWHP & on race fuel 720AWHP, but I put some lengths on it....the streets can be a mean cold place out there....never leave home without that CRACK in the tank! Hopefully that 991 driver learned that lesson that day!
I have vids of these runs and more from last week and might post them up in another thread.

That was a great race I love that stuff. I bet that stripped Evo ways 500 lbs lighter than the 991. I can tell you this on my By Design stage 4 race map No passenger is sitting sideways in the seat videoing, there getting stuffed in the seat by big g's and getting there eyeballs stuffed in the back of there head.
What is still impressive for that EVO is that it is still on the stock block.... That is crazy especially for a 2.0!

I've driven one with 540 to the wheels on race gas. It's a rush of a different type! I remember feeling like it was gonna blow through every gear and that the Trans was gonna give on every shift but it never did! 8000 RPM screamer! My friend blew it up right next to me on the straight at California Speedway I'll never forget it! I was in my 993 GT2 clone. He ran it out of fuel and I heard it happen at 120+ 5 feet away. Oh the memories!

Talk about driver mod no the Evo! I had an 03 evo putting down around 420 whp on pump back in 04-05 and it was an extremely fun car. Different times now adays though, specially with E85.
Would love to see these Bobby! I never say no to some good racing vids!
