Buying 991 TT from out of state

The sunroof... back in the day hardtops were more desirable than targas due to rigidity and weight, but those were Supras, these are Porsches. I'd like to assume that 20 years later and with a more sophisticated manufacturer they were able to incorporate a sunroof without scarficing performance. I have a sunroof on mine and unlike my t-top Trans Am, targa Supra, and the sunroofs I had in my Land Cruiser and Cayenne Turbo, I actually use it from time to time.
But PCCB > Sunroof all day long.

The thing about PCCB's...don't get them if you have the intention of tracking your car much. Couple times a year no biggie you should be good to go. They are good to look at.
I thought they were better than steel rotors at the track...lol at me. Also the ceramics wear quickly at the track and then $25k to replace all 4. I've been lucky...had the opportunity to spend time with GMG at the track with a bunch of different 911's and the ones with the best consistent stopping power were the ones fitted with aftermarket steel rotors from either Brembo or AP racing, stainless lines and brake ducts. Fraction of the cost of ceramics. And lots of pad options with the steels. With the ceramics, anything other than stock you might wear the ceramics even quicker.

I doubt the OP is going to do more than 2 track days a year. For that or less, the PCCBs are supposed to be lifetime lasting.

Yeah, but unless your name is Randy, the TTS probably isnt the track choice car. A GT3 is. Then its all consumables. And the PCCB isnt a consumable unless you have special big money. Not a must have option. I would think any damage to the resale value would be palpable, but I would be more concerned about resale timing. The used market is saturated with 991 turbos, and as far as I can tell, nearly all have a sunroof. You may find that special person looking for one without. But don't buy a car for its resale, buy it because you like it.

I found a 2016 Turbo, carrera white metallic with < 2K miles, Sports Chrono, full leather, glass sunroof, heated/ventilated seats for $136K ($140K shipped).
Thanks to everyone on this forum for being such helpful members - grateful.

Low options? Could be but it was optioned exactly how we wanted a Turbo to be:
Carrara white metallic, PDK, sports chrono, PDCC, sunroof in glass, two-tone leather, heated/ventilated seats, premium package plus, folding exterior mirrors.
