New 991 TurboS Stock Engine World Record
We went out to Atco NJ yesterday afternoon with two 911s in hopes of getting two records.
The customer AIM-ES850 991 TurboS that puts down just over 830whp and 700wtq, with this car we were shooting to beat the 991 Stock Motor World Record that was being held in PR at 9.37 . We got to the track around 10AM and DA was nice around -300 but the ground was too cold from the night before and the 60fts just weren't low enough to go 9.3x.... car was going 9.4-9.5 with some wheelspin and 1.5 60fts. Finally it warmed up in the afternoon and we started seeing mid 1.4 60fts, but the negative DA has gone away and this record was actually set in +200 DA or so. Car went 9.35 @ 148 MPH on a 1.43 60ft backed up with a 9.39.
We think that a 1.3x 60ft is achievable and will put this build into the 9.2x ! Next step will be to lighten it up with LW seats, straight pipes and some LW wheels.
Some additional details on the car:
2014 TurboS
ES850 kit installed @ AIM, COBB AP Tuned by Emre @ ESMotor
Stock Engine
Stock PDK Trans
Stock Clutches
Full Weight ( Stock seats, stock interior, full exhaust, no lightweight wheels)
MS109 + Meth
Drag Radials
TalonTSI97 YouTube channel was on video coverage so keep an eye out for this car on YouTube !
Funny side note. Recently one of the competitor customers commented on our Instagram about ATCO being a downhill track with magical DA..... well here you have the GPS slope, ET and even the DA.

Ricardo’s 991.1 TTS from Puerto Rico, World Record 1/4 mile for a VTG car still stands, you guys have the non-VTG 1/4 mile record, for now...there’s room for all of us!
Cheers,
Manuel

Thank you for clarifying it’s a non-VTG car, that’s awesome. Congrats again to the AIM team!

The headline of the original post on Ricardo's record was "World Record - 1/4 mile stock motor By Design & Predator Performance!"
Then Sam commented: "So awesome Ricardo. This means the fastest stock motor Porsche ever...I am pretty sure! Something to be proud of mate congrats!"
The stock motor record now belongs to ES Motor and AIM.

Not exactly, Manuel. ESMotor and AIM have THE stock motor 1/4 mile world record. Period. Their record does not require an asterisk. Only someone claiming a record with a slower time does.

You are right and see your point about the stock motor vs stock motor record. It’s like our WGF Ocala event when we were neck to neck, and even with the 71mm’s the 68mm’s performed better. Also, the fact that the cars are so close in ET 9.37 vs 9.35 and the turbo chargers are so far apart is something to take note of though. It will be fun to see more progress on the platform it’s getting hot!

Ricardo's car is very quick and impressive. Faster than mine ever was with VTGs.
See you next weekend.
