Son of a!!! Now THAT’S bad ***. Do tell on the specs of that car. Wheels? Springs? Mods? My car aspires to look like that. And post more pics of it, please!

The 650S was far superior to the 570S but I loved the tech in the newer 570’s and as I had said earlier, loved my Spyder the most.

Why did you sell it?

 

Do you want the truth, or a lie? A lie is I didn’t want it anymore because we never drove it.

The truth is we never drove it and PARKED it anywhere and my wife HATED the attention. We bought a 997.2 Turbo S back in 2016 and I taught her how to drag race... needless to say, she was hooked on turbo Porsche’s. She never forgave me for selling that car... fast forward to now after my stint in 3 Mclarens and she said, I’m over these attention ******, I want another Porsche Turbo S. We did have a GT3 in between a couple of the Mclarens and both of us loved that car. (Should’ve kept it) Anyway, she’s not the decision maker in our house, but I respect her, her opinion, and value her happiness with regards to big ticket items such as unnecessary cars.

I’m not getting younger and we can only afford one fun car at a time, so we compromised and moved forward with this car. Hopefully we’ll keep it awhile. That’s my saga... you asked. Haha!

 

awesome—I have a 650s Spyder and for the money (347 window-got for 150 w 8k miles) I’m blown away by the car dynamically-handling/ride/power is all ridiculous...has sport cats and a tune and some HRE’s - did u have any issues using lowering springs on ur 650 ?

it is a stage 4 car, so basically full bolt ons-Boostlogic titanium exhaust/headers, Boostlogic 68mm vtg turbos, ams intercoolers, ipd plenum/y pipe-no meth, tuned for plain Jane 93 oct. roof is blacked out, on H&R springs, and on HRE 21” RS102 wheels, painted skirts and rear valance

Damn dude, we could be friends! Your 650S looks almost EXACTLY like the one I had... Aurora Blue, tons of carbon, HRE’s... right down to the yellow calipers. You and I car very much aligned in our car likes.
