I like that comparison picture, just wished they would have used a 997.2, as the way they re-designed the tail lights with the 997.2 looks much more similar to the 991. I still can't get used to the 991 tail lights though, they just made them way to thin in my opinion.

I'm a guy that's been hooked on the later model 911 since I bought my first Porsche at 23 (a C4 996). I test drove the 993 but I'm 6'4 and didn't really fit well, so went with the bigger 996.

I really don't see a ton of improvement since they went to the 996 versus the newer models so I'm sticking with my older 996 TT X50 that still hits 200 and sub 4 second 0-60 with PSM.

Here are some more photos:

Quite like the first colour setup. The rotors look way too small for those wheels - would have been nice to "fill" the void with rotor

Regards
Arthur

Woah. Is this the Porsche 991 Aero kit? It looks similar to the GT3 front.

Dealers will always find a way to screw you out of money. Private party sale is the way to go.

Really depends.. my dealer just called me and told me they are barely moving them. So I imagine there are some discounts to be had.

Agreed. There are a lot of inventory here in southern california. I really do hope that they order a lot of 991s so that there will be discounts on the leftovers. fingers crossed.

I actually prefer the 991 to the 997. I'll wait for the new one.
