interesting on the weight issue, i believed it was lighter.

The weight trend is concerning, our test car came in at 3348 lbs, far more than claimed, and heavier than the 997.2.

There are a lot of options in the 991. Many of them are heavy and that where the extra weight come from.

I do not think that you can resolve that equation with options. Even if you factor in the sunroof and adaptive seats of our test car, it does not pan out. The 991 is not lighter, and certainly way heavier than claimed. We have never weighted a 911 anywhere close to DIN factory figures.

Some shots of Platinum Silver 991

Platinum looked great under the lights of the dealership. Need to see to appreciate.

I went to my dealer's launch yesterday. While everyone was fondling the 4 cars they had on display, my salesman told me that this car was hidden out back waiting to be delivered. I was able to grab a few quick shots.

I can't wait to get a chance to take some proper 991 photos in a better location.

Thanks. It looks great in white in person. I was worried that it would make the car look really big, but I didn't get that feeling.

Some spy pics of GT3 testing. I love the fake side intake sticker.

Wink

Hi Guys!
My 991 White is scheudeled to be produced from 20 to 27 ferburary, for deliver (Italy) from 28 to 6 of march.

Looking at these wonderful pics of a white 991, the one of brianja, and comparing it with the one to my dealer, i don't understand why they have DIFFERENT front LIPS (the black one...). Here in Italy, all 991 i saw had smaller lower lips.

Wondering why. Someone can explain it to me?

Thank u.

The "-20mm PASM sports suspension" option comes with different front lips. If you add 030 (SPASM) or 031 (SPASM + PDCC), you will have the different front lips.
