Isn't the backrest angled forward in the cab to accommodate the retractable top? It will be interesting to see what changes have been made to the top for the cab version of the 991. I assume the cab version won't be out for a little while.

I always hated that cheap looking carpeting. Thank god they got rid of it.

Should be no problem. I can get a set of clubs in my 996TT (have to take the woods out of the bag though).

Yes, for sure more leg room in the 991 but i'm curious about the head room on the 991. on the 997.2 the head room is not that convenient. Now that the 991 roof is sharper (lower), i'm assuming that you'll get less head room in the 991, no?

I think they mentioned the seats sit lower to compensate.

Also, the new sunroof is apparently a targa like panel that pops up and back over the body instead of retracting into the roof ala 997. Additional headroom was mentioned in one article.

very nice for anyone who autocrosses or tracks the car as it will preserve more room for a helmet.

That caca interior looks gross. It's all purple. Not my style for sure.

Still not sure about the leg room. I can't tell because everyone scooted their chair all the way back.

I'd like to see a pic of the car from the side with the sunroof open. I'm concerned that retracting the sunroof to the outside might not look that good. I remember other car models (earlier) that did this.

I would venture a guess that it looks less purple and more brown in reality. Brown interiors look very rich these days - it's making a real comeback! I've seen a silver Pana with a brown interior recently and that combination looked HOT.

I'll bet there's still not enough room for anybody with legs or feet to sit back there.
