While a 991 Forum may already exist (admitedly, haven't looked), I wanted to share my enthusiasm for the 991 car configurator up and running on Porsche's website. Currently, only for Carrera and Carrera S, and you will notice some changes for options for 991 (interior trim paint, folding mirrors and host of handling goodies); didn't see an aerokit yet.

Also, specs are out there as well and you can compare differences between 997.2 and 991, albeit by opening two windows to the same site.

Realize there are mix emotions with the new car as there is with any loyalists to a brand or style of car; I accept and appreciate that. Me, I like progress and change - get bored easily.

So, if you like to 'play' as I do with the Porsche configurator, then your time has arrived for the 991. My Lord, I must have 2 dozen or more Porsches, various models over the past few months. Now on to the 991....

Porsche has their act together - even before the car is released you can go online and configure it. Amazing really!

and i agree, i like progress, esp. if it`s as organic as Porsche`s.
They know what they need to do to keep the fascination alive.
Keeping an eye on tradition while pushing the limits in terms of engineering.
and u can enjoy all that in ventilated seats, it does hardly get any better.
