I'd be willing to bet that a majority of 991 buyers will forego the (gawd-awful) sunroof. Yeesh..

 

i don`t think so, the desire for fresh air will be too dominant in the end .

Can't wait to see the new targa! Hope it is like the early 70's targas.

 

me too, i think that´s why they offer a new, huge sunroof, which is pretty much the size of the old 997 targa`s roof.

i guess they want the 997 Targa buyers to have 2 choices:

1. buy a 991 carrera with the new, much bigger sunroof.
2. buy the new 991 targa with an old school folding top.

 

Really hot pictures. Also heard that the sunroof will have the option of being completely glass if you want.

 

It sure looks like the temp/pressure gauges are going to be a PITA to read while on the track.

The wheels...let's just say that the aftermarket companies will be happy.

Me, I like the sunroof, being a ragtop guy, bigger is better IMO. As far as the rest of the looks, I am hoping the 991 continues to grow on me

These are the best pics yet. That 7 speed manual is so great. The interior looks top quality and the exterior looks better everytime I see it. I am really liking the smaller taillights. As usual Porsche does the job right.

I'm really liking this!! Except..

1. The 86 letters on the hood/trunk. Looks like someone actually made an effort to cramp in as many letters as possible on the back end...

2. Sunroof is too big.

3. Wheeldesign, as usual. There are very few cars that have nice looking stock wheels imo, so not a big surprise I guess.

Overall, they made a great car. Looks amazing!
