I've noticed in some pics/videos and on the configurator that there is now a new option to have a bright aluminium trim around the side window. I think this would look good on darker colored cars. I'm not sure if I'd actually order it though. What do you guys (and gals) think?

 

It does give the car a classier, more luxourious look. Not something I would go for either. Maybe on an S-class.

 

I love it on my targa.. really depends on the look you are going for.

 

I like it a lot! I loved this when it was introduced on the 997 Targa. I was behind a Midnight Blue Targa C4s last night and the chrome trim highlights the lines of the c pillar so nicely. I could not find a still on the 991 with the chrome--but there is a video on the new micro site with a blue C2s with the chrome and it is a much improved upscale look. This is an option I would definitely go for.

i think it´s cool with silver and polished wheels.
it adds a bit more classic elegance to the car like the 911s back in the days with silver or chrome Fuchs wheels.





but i wouldn`t want it together with blacked out wheels tho.
more chrome = less aggressive

 

One of my dream cars used to be the 360 Challenge Stradale in Tour de France Blue with yellow calipers....but the 991s in Lapis with PCCB blows it away (needs chrome)...especially now that the the interior is befitting a $100k car. Can't wait for the turbo!
