Any idea where(which dealer) /when the 911 will be available for showing in the bay area? Thanks

Naw. I don't want to look at the 991 at the la auto show, because I'll itch for the 991 and it will make me want to pay full msrp for one. Almost pulled the trigger on a gts in july, but I run out of the dealership like a mad man at the last second. Glad I did or I would have taken a huge bath on it. I'll just wait patiently.

 

I imagine that the 991 will be present at the Porsche Rennsport Reunion next month in Monterey!

 

Article about new 911 in this months (Nov) Excellence ended with-

"Judging the 991 in comparison with the outgoing 997, however, remains a task to be handled following the car's first drive in November 2011."

Great issue BTW - Carrera GTS vs Cayman R vs Boxster Spyder, new 911 and others. Just came in the mail yesterday.
