Sorry, unless you are taking about forced induction cars, a flash isn't going to add that much power.

With 22 inch wheels you get the optional "22's" emblems in chrome on the side.

I would get the S every time. Porsche doesn't spec 20" wheels just for show. The suspension will be tuned for the wheel set up and the brakes are larger so you'll need the right offset and size for the S. Whether you track the car or not...

I understand the reasoning people have for buying the Base versions, because 911s are always damn good cars, even in 'Base' configs. But, there is such a disparity of equipment between the two that at these prices, why not get the S unless you're already stretching your budget to get into a 911? More Power. Better Brakes. PASM & PTV. Bigger Wheels (which also means bigger contact patches). And not enough difference in price/payments to justify NOT getting the S.

+1
I agree 100%. But who am I to talk because I cant afford either one. Just bout everyone with a base could have easily afforded an S IMO but just dont care about the extra performace or options they are plenty happy with a base car. I think its as simple as that.

So it's not all about the bling.
340mm brake discs are a bit over 13 inches... Add a few inches on top of that for the caliper and there's still no way 20's are required to clear the brakes. Car manufactures everywhere need to stop using ridiculous wheel sizes.
