.. no XM radio?
Sounds like it's going to be a great car..
I must say that the increase in prices for the new 991 may help those of us who drive 'old has-been' 997s to retain our car's selling/trade-in value.

Congrats! You must be very excited.
IMO, for 120K plus tax I'm not sure I would be that interested but that doesn't matter. I'm sure it will be a fantastic car and you will enjoy it throughly.

Nice order seems like a bargain to me considering the same spec car here in Canada would be well north of 130k. Anyhow can't wait to see pictures and get your driving impressions - now the lonnggg wait. At least Nov and Dec fly by with the holidays. Congrats!

Pretty much dead on with options. That would be my build. Congratulations, she will be awesome.
Pricey! I do not think 997.2 values will be hurt as its a big jump $ wise to get into a 991. I think I'm staying put until 991.2

I ordered one that will be very similar. They told me dec build but did not get so specific about the delivery date. They said feb or march depending when Porsche allows them to be released. They said they may get held at port of entry until a NA embargo date passes or something like that.
Yes the wait is already torture.
I got mine in dark blue metallic. Also the 14 way seats...was not sure if the 18 way would be worth the extra K's.
Why no dynamic chassis with your pasm? I did opt for that. I figure if I am getting a new gen car it should have most of the key performance improvements.

Highly doubt the 997.2 value hold regardless of the 991's price. My dealer has been sitting on inventory for over 12 months and having a really hard time moving them. "How can I sell someone a 997 when the 991 is where the excitement is. I have to discount it to death to move it - we don't like to show losses on our cars. 8 years ago when the 997 was released people flocked to buy up the 996s but we are not seeing that trend with the 997".

PDDC sounds awesome, to be honest my options were adding up and I omitted the PDDC as I do mainly city driving and was hard for me to justify it. congratulations on your car!
