It's not that much faster than a manual. .2 seconds 0-60 or a few tenths over the course of a couple of miles lap is not that much faster.

Plus some people actually take pride in doing stuff themselves. Nothing ludite about it. It's called personal preference. There a certain pride that comes along with developing the necessary skill to pilot a manual effectively Besides, people don't buy 911's because they want the easiest thing to drive. That's why there still is a 911, because people like a challenge.

With that being said, I would still get the 991 in PDK unless is was a track only car and my only sports car. I find mountain runs more fun with paddles since there are no laps, threshold braking, replicated sequences for one to master. Just random shifts. Paddles make that much more fun IMO, even with an auto.

In fact, the only way I would be getting the 991 in manual would be a GT3.

Go to a Porsche dealer and drive both a manual and a PDK 997.2 911 and judge for yourself. If you will use the car as a DD and encounter lots of gridlock you may want a PDK. If not then the manual would potentially be more satisfying. Whatever you do check out the local Porsche club for all sorts of events going forward. You will enjoy when you learn what the car can do on a track on a DE or skills day.

Good build, I wouldn't add anything. But maybe change the ext. color, nothing wrong with white, but in the standard colors red or yellow would really stand out.

If keeping the car long term and you live in an area with twisty and winding roads you could consider PDCC.

Thanks. I've been fighting with the option of either getting PDCC or not. Dont know if it's worth over $3K. Want the car to be below $110. Is the Sports Exaust worth it?

You could save some money to pay for PDCC, by removing power steering plus, crests headrest, logo storage bin.

About PSE not sure. I have been talked in to getting PSE by these porsche forums where some highly recommend it, claiming that it adds enjoyment, though I originally thought it to be a waste of money. I won't know for sure till I get my car next year.

the difference between getting PSE or PDCC is that u can get the PSE installed later on or get an even better system on the aftermarket
BUT u cannot get the PDCC installed afterwards. So i would go for the PDCC if u are really interested in it!

Good build except im not a beige interior person on a sports car. I would add the PDCC. I know you wanted to stay at 110 but what another 3 grand? Less than 3 percent for something you will use everytime ou drive the car. I also love the PSE so it would be hard for me to give that up. Best of luck with build.

Great suggestions guys. I think I'm going to remove the steering plus, crests and logo. Will save a few bucks there to add the PDCC. You guys have talked me into it
