Took a few pictures on Monday at the Red Lion in Santa Barbara after seeing Edgy's post Journalist Days in SB on the other forum 991 site. His pics are clearly better but these are mine.

yellow is still my favourite so far, looks amazing!

 

yellow is surely hot, but after owning a yellow car and getting pulled over 4 times in 12 months - I was DONE.

i am getting more and more excited about this. The 991 is looking amazing...

yes, they are. Although my 911 S was white, i did get pulled over and was told nice car and a ticket.

yellow was spa yellow s2000.

 

"nice car" and then a ticket, i know that behaviour, i guess cops are the same all over the world!

 

It seem that the grey with the carrera red leather interior is a hit. The journalists driving these 991 cars are showing up in other threads like the Excellence article by Pete Stout. They are driving in the roads around Santa Barbara, Santa Maria; even Michael Jackson looking from above his Neverland ranch is liking it. There is even a 7 speed manual in the bunch that locks out 7th gear from a 4th to 7th upshift misadventure.

 

In Dubai, no cops involved, you get snapped by cameras and build up fines that you have to pay at latest on your yearly car registration renewal.

 

Dont know about rear end on that red 991...probably have to see it in the flesh before passing judgement.

I'm loving the rear on 991 in red. I used to dislike it for being too Aston Martin-like but the angulated appearance and slim rear lights has grown on me.

 

Porsche is so smart - love how they create all the different colours and samples. Its great to see the combos well before ordering!
