Porsche 991 Dealer Launch Party Cape Town
Hi everyone
Cape Town is buzzing now with 991’s because Porsche is hosting the Porsche 991 Dealer Launch Party. Supposedly it will be running for about 2 months and Cape Town is expecting to see close to 50 cars and about 800 staff members driving in convoy groups. They leave Cape Town CBD in the morning and drive in groups of 8 cars towards Cape Point and the Cape Winelands following Cayenne pace cars. It’s nice to see 991’s driving on the left hand side of the road for a change and I’m sure the drivers are struggling, thank god for the pace car.
We as customers might get the chance to see the car up close in December at the dealerships before they leave back for Germany. The 991 will only be launched in SA next year February but for now we are not allowed to interact with the people which is understandable but disappointing. Hope you enjoy the pictures.Alex

Here's my thought on it. I think also catchmyshadow confirmed my hunch.
On sporty colors I think blk looks good.
On light colors or luxurious colors I think it looks awesome.
In the yesteryears (997 and older) the trim was plastic. I rather get the chrome and when i get bored, just wrap it matte or something.
chrome > plastic is where I am at.
And Yes on the Targa it gives a strickingly good look.
