991 Order Locked!
Hi there, first time poster and long time lurker. Ordered my 991 in September and finally the order is locked. Was told by the principal dealer that we are looking at a December build and Feburary delivery. I cannot wait, not sure you guys are interested but thought I would post my order anyway.
991 Carrera S

Sports Exhaust System
Sports Seats Plus (Manual)
Tire Pressure Monitoring System

Servotronic

Will be trading in my Cayman S Sport with a little sadness, but have always wanted to drive and own a 911, so now is the time

black on black wheels, that should turn out pretty menacing!
i would add park assist and dimming mirrors.
you don`t need both things very often but it´s freakin`annoying if you don`t have them at times.

I assume mine is locked and I have built a mental wall to stop 2nd guessing my decisions.

I though about both of those, but the total amount was adding up and there were a few things that I really wanted and wouldn't leave out. Also in chatting with the dealer, left them out according to his recommendations about resale etc... think we are slightly behind in what people desire on a pre-owned car here in South Africa.

My order been delay to first week of Feb. I tried to add some options today but my dealer said she was informed that the deadline has moved forward for all new 911 so it is unlikely to be changed again, She guess they have a week buffer.

Spoke to my dealer as well, and they have something called a 'freeze point' date and after that no changes. They will hopefully have an idea of the build date and possible delivery date around the middle of December.

Oh well this is what happens when you are subject to a torturous long wait for your new 911...I have nothing else to do but pester my dealer and over-analyze clues.
