650i vs Camaro vs 991S (Autobild Test)
For me the 991 of course won , but judge for yourself:
1st place - BMW 650i Coupé (342/500 points)
The most comfortable car in this comparison with the biggest interior space, trunk and the best usability. the engine is powerful but the handling feels "tired" and not sports car-like.
2nd place - Porsche 911 Carrera S PDK (326/500 points)
No surprises here: stupid fast, very solid, terrific handling, not as comfortable as the 650i, more comfortable than the Camaro, smallest trunk and interior space and expensive.
3rd place - Chevrolet Camaro Coupé (301/500 points)
The Camaro produced the biggest "show", a real retro-car with a nice price tag. On the other hand it's loud, uncomfortable and the build-quality is weak. But it's quick and fun to drive.

991 losing to a pig? ridiculous comparsion, not even in the same class. 650 wins by a bigger interior and trunk!? I guess this magazine has not driven a Panamera yet. I have not seen a worse comparison than this before.

agreed. it´s the biggest car paper in germany. they are doing lots of comparisons, some make sense, some not so much.
i guess they wanted 3 relatively new cars (obviously at least 2 had to be german and one from overseas), all with comparable HP figures.
The R8 4.2 would have played a better part but it´s almost 5 years old and the SLS is too powerful.

Okay so they pit three different cars against each other from three different classes of automobiles AND three different tiers of price. Right.
It may be the biggest paper in Germany, but IMHO, that is one of the most worthless comparison articles I've ever seen... well maybe, save for the statistics on each vehicle. They need to go review other things besides automobiles- like fast food.

Maybe translating the verdict helps a bit:
"Okay, the Posche 911 doesn`t win this contest but 911 buyers won`t care too much, they are not looking for the biggest ride comfort and trunk.
The BMW is superior in these categories, which makes him a great (long distance) GT & DD but not a great sports car. The Chevrolet Camaro may be the last in this contest but it´s not a loser against these 2 competent rivals. You`ll hardly find a car that provides more fun for less than 40.000 Euros."
here is a poll on the comparo from another forum, i guess the result would be similar on here.

Check out the photo showing the rear ends of the three cars. As much as some have complained about the look of the 991's rear, it's absolutely stunning compared to those other two cars. The Camaro's rear looks like it's from a cartoon (maybe Cars?) and the BMW's is just weird (and I'm a former M3 owner). The 991 should win the comparo based on rear ends alone.

yep, it`s 4 years in the U.S. but just 2 years in germany.
2 years is standard (for all non food products) here in germany, but it can be extended (for additional $$$).

You sir, are correct. The 650 is as long as a 1984 camaro. And almost as pointy.
Speaking of Camaro - this guy might think this new model a lot of fun for $40k, but from the reviews I've read it handles like a roller skate. Typical American - designed to go in a straight line.
