It is a fair price for the car. I configured one with the Yachting Blue exterior and the two tone Yachting Blue/ Cream that is shown in the post above. Absolutely beautiful!

It looks much better in real life than in the photos...

I really like that Panny's colors. The exterior and interior complement each other well.

Love it big time, if I were to customize a 991 I would go blue - its fresh, and different on the eyes. Would love it with Silver or White.

I have metropol blue in my 996 and love it. Very dark and rich. I liked it better than the usual black even. Dark blue looks great with white.

I had Metropol blue in my white 996TT - it looked great. It was ordered with white stitching, seat backs and console - very classy indeed!

Agreed. It is absolutely beautiful.

Oh, and I saw a 991s with a yachting blue interior indoors...and I thought that it was black until I looked at the sticker. The blue is pretty stealthy.

It is a rich and elegant color. Very befitting for the 991. Does anyone know if yachting blue ages well?

I really like this color as well the red.

However, to me, and this is just my opinion............but there is just too much blue. It would be nice to have black carpet and some other black areas, perhaps center console or dash trim.

I think I would grow tired of such a bold choice.

Metropol Blue

I have a 996 C4S in Silver, with Metropol Blue leather interior.
This is virtually identical to the Yachting blue.

It is so much WARMER, and more elegant than the ubiquitous black.

I would configure a new 991 the same way.

I have white turbo with red interior 997. Had a white 996 turbo cab with blue interior and blue top. Love the blue but the red really grabs you.

Cool jturner

i feel your pain. Back in 2005 I ordered a M-B SLK 55 Siver with the"navy" interior from a swatch. When the car arrived it was the same color as your photo. The salesman said "this is German Navy Blue" I said that's why they lost the war; ther're colorblind! I utimately learned to live with it for 3 years. May you can too, at least the steering wheel and dash match the 55 was black!

This picture helps explain my previous comment about wanting black carpet and maybe some trim pieces in black.

The carpet, and seats don't match. Different colors from different textures are hard to match, and it's easy to see that.

I mean no offense, and it is all personal taste. I have never liked colored carpet. Even my wifes minivan with light brown seats has black carpet.

Anything besides black get dirty and worn quickly. Id I was to own a car with carpet that wasn't black I would at least want black floor mats.

To me it seems odd that someone would put dirty shoes on light brown carpet, or mats thinking they wouldn't look bad over time.
