I hope not... If that is the case then there goes there advertising of it being so daily driver useful...

lets say for arguments sake you are wearing boots... that will not be fun to drive... whereas i have driven my vette in boots many times with no problem..

tradervic I have a 3/23/12 delivery date on my base car MT. Where did you get your info? I don't mind waiting if that is what it takes for them to get it right though.

I think that you need to check your date. I think it is a production date not the delivery date. I am working with a Premier Dealer and the first Base car 7 speed manual allocations that PCNA is giving are for mid/late March builds.

If the new 911 footwell is anything like the cayman, it will be just fine. I had a cayman (actually the wife's car) and the foot well was fine and I have size 12's. Im not saying it was roomy, but enough that I could move around without hooking my soles together. The problem for me with the cayman was the lack of general legroom and shoulder room (6'2" with broad shoulders). That is why I have waited (ever so patiently) for this version!

Footwell

Hey Guys !

I'm TheGetawayer, author of the video above and I wanted to thank you for sharing and discussing it.

The footwell is just like in the previous Porsches that I tested for my channel.
I am 6'4 and my shoe size is US 14

If I think I can do heel and toe in that thing, you can too

Hope you guys get to check out my channel and the reviews I recorded here in germany.
Feedback is always appreciated !

Greetings from germany

Can you tell us what the clutch felt like when you push it in ... I had read a review where they call it 'Heavy'.

Is it heavy or is it like the out going 997 S model ?

Thanks !!!

Thank you for your review of the 7spd. I am manual transmission guy myself I know the PDK is the latest and greatest but their is a connection to the car that i have not been able to replicate with the PDK.

If you have a chance of getting to drive a 7spd in Germany please let us know what you think. Motortrend did not seem offended by it. I can't wait to hear some reviews from people taking delivery of their manual 991's.

I am awaiting the arrival of my C2S cab-7spd platinum silver with black interior. Build date is mid-march but it appears that date might be pushed ahead by about 4-6 weeks. Some issues at the production end.

So I am anxious getting a car that know one really knows much about. A 7spd and a cab.
