I know that guy, he is famous now. He also has an Aventador Roadster now.

I spent almost a day reading your thread and it was great. Get that GT3 and I'll see you at C&O we are the group that threw the event last month with the Skittle cars and Black and White exotics. Hope to see you there!

Could not make it last Sunday (not even because of the weather...), but I'll be there next time for sure... still with my C2S though. Throw something in for red cars and I am in (I'll bring the 911 and the M3)

Here we go... again !
Do not believe the old Albert, he is wrong!
Yes I have already tried several exhaust options (PSE, headers, muffler bypasses, valved exhausts) and I always went back to PSE in the end. It was either too loud all the time, there was not enough difference between quiet and loud mode, there was drone around 3,000 rpm, etc. and had somehow decided I would stay stock (PSE) forever.
That was until the AWE Tuning SwitchPath Exhaust caught my attention
It does not seem to suffer from the flaws of some others (esp. vacuum lines melting) based on their feedback and I liked the sound: the quiet mode seem unchanged while the loud mode sounds like an amplified PSE with more low rpm burps and nice short farts when shifting up (sorry for my language).
So yes, I am going to give it a go and will add the chrome tips to complete the package. Again looks like improved OEM tips vs. others that are sticking out too much (and fall apart on the track, see a post from a few months ago).
It was time I did something for my beloved 991 again. I have spent way too much time on the old E46 M3 lately

Yep, will do. I went to Hennesy's website looking for your car but it was gone. Sally did not even tell me she had a GT3.

GT3 goodies...
It seems like the happy few who are waiting for their GT3 (and to make it clear, i am NOT on the list) have received a little present in the mail this week. Il looks like a shoe shine kit at first sight, bu I've been told it was a screen cleaner.
Just in case you still needed a reason for wanting a GT3

LOL! It's all about perception. Put "Porsche" and "GT3" on it and it's worth a lot more.

My new AWE Switchpath exhaust got delivered last Friday. I will try to get it installed this week.
In order to get a reference point, I made a few recordings of the PSE today and will do the same with the AWE exhaust in a week or two.
Nothing super high quality but I am looking forward to compare the two systems...
