Good news... Bad news!
OK, so SpeedART screwed up. Bad news is I was supposed to get the spoiler today... good news is, the springs showed up instead!

Car is at the shop and springs (and a couple of small stuff) should be installed tomorrow. Can't wait to see the result
PS: the SpeedART springs are manufactured by H&R. I hope they are different and that there is not simply a $200 premium to buy from SpeedART.

SpeedART springs
The SpeedART springs were installed today and the result is, IMO, very good.
The stance is more aggressive and the ride firmer but still compliant and comfortable enough for a DD.

And here's a picture of the car lowered. It was already pretty dark when I came back home. Will take a few more pics this week end.

The SpeedART springs seem to lower the car by about 1" / 25mm (15mm more than SPASM) compared to the Carrera S height.
The spoiler has arrived in the US and I hope to get it installed next Thursday...

One 'thin' finger No rubbing at all (for now). I already had spacers at the front and can not go wider as wheels are already more than flush.

Beautiful!
The stance with the new springs(together with your wheels) is simply stunning. My 991 with SPASM is on order, and I'm already jealous of how perfect the drop looks on your car!!! I have been getting a little nervous about scraping issues with SPASM, so I'm eager to hear if you have any issues with this setup.
I have one question for you. Do you know what the difference in offset is between your wheels and stock? I ordered 5mm spacers from the factory, but in the pictures I've seen of this setup the wheels don't seem as flush with the fenders as with your car.
Congrats on your ride and I'll be waiting to see what you do next!

OK, I went to one of my usual photoshoot places and took a few pics. I am not done with mods for the next couple of weeks so I kept it simple...

Here's what the wheels clearance looks like.

No ground clearance issues so far and I am not expecting anything major.

Also did a launch control and tossed the car a bit to show that the car now sits lower, but also stays much 'flatter' than before. Overall, the road feel is a bit more 997-ish...
Did a couple more mods while the springs were being installed:
The shop painted the wheel hubs in black. Looks better than the OEM grey.

Also got red seat belts installed at the front:

And to complete the exterior B&W theme (with a little touch of red), the OEM silver hood crest.

I also have Black&Silver wheel center caps on their way for later this week (together with the SpeedART spoiler )

Looks and sounds GREAT!
How do you find the ride with the new springs... I know ya said it's more 997-ish but does your 991 still have the dual personality, very comfy & kinda sporty (suspension) or is it now sporty & hard (track)?
Cheers!

Both the standard and sport settings are firmer, but the standard mode is still comfortable enough for DD and long trips. Overall, the car feels a bit more 'tight' and you can read the surface of the road more easily (hence why I used the 997-ish term). I would strongly recommend these springs -or at least S-PASM- now that I have tested them.
