I was trying to find a similar front 3/4-view to compare because this car does appear to have a much wider rear end than the 991 C2. But obviously a GT3 w/ the center exhaust and center lock wheels. Also notice that this one has the rear spoiler up at a very aggressive angle (SPASM).

I'm so much more interested in the new GT3 than before. Still want to see the WB C4S, but if the GT3 has a WB, then I might start paying more attention to the 991.

 

The more I look at these images, the more I think that this test car has the same rear end width as the 991 C2, but much wider rear wheels/tires that almost stick out beyond the edge of the car.

 

I agree. Compared to the short vertical edge of the front fender, the rear looks pulled out or rolled and doesn't have a vertical edge to it. At least, until you get to the point where the rear bumper mates with the rear fender. I assume this is to accommodate a wider track or more aggressive offsets of the wheels.

Either way, I'm definitely interested!

 

Any price guess?? I would like to be on the list.. it will be a long wait..
