991 rear wing - 3 different degrees of "up"
#17
I too believe that there are two different levels of height....
My rear wing lifts at exactly 78 mph (at 77 stays closed), but until I reach 80-82 it is not fully extended (very visible from the rear view mirror).
I have S-PASM....Interesting thread indeed!

I think it goes back down around 50-55 mph.

I believe mine has two settings, at least it seems to be higher (as viewed through rear view mirror) when the sunroof is open, albeit not by much. Haven't tested it rigorously, though.
Regarding spoiler deployment/retraction: AFAICT there are no fixed set speeds at which the spoiler deploys or retracts. Instead, it's a function of speed over time. I.e. if you go 75mph for 100s or 80 for 10s or 90 for 1s, it goes up and if you stay below 75 for 100s or 70 for 10s or 60 for 1s, it goes down. Or some such, similar to the attached graph of abs(10 * 1/(x-75)), assuming 75mph is the boundary speed as the manual says. Makes sense, too, because it avoids the tail flip-flopping around that speed.
