Thanks, I know about the Techart stuff that's available. I haven't seen anyone buy it though.
To the guy who said something about perfection....I've yet to see any car that I wouldn't change something about. Maybe the Veyron but even that's a maybe. That's onlt because I know for sure every piece and part was engineered and made to handle 250 mph. Since I'd never attempt such speeds I would feel comfortable putting lower profile tires on it since the stockers are too thick for my taste.
The 991 looks great....don't get me wrong. I'm just saying it isn't perfect or un-moddable. If that was the case companies like Techart would have died a long time ago. Instead there are plenty of tuners around enhancing the car. I'm just wondering why there is not much going on around here.

So, Your main interest is appearence.. ? lower profile tires look nice, as long you dont over do it, but most the time, they ruin the ride quality.

I'm riding on 30 profile high performance Goodyears on my Lexus and the car rides just like I wanted it.
Usually I use Michelins and they also ride fine at the specs I like. The right tires are important. I wouldn't ride on 30 profile Nitto tires. That would feel like riding on gravel.
But my main interest is making the car look hot and handle well. Not big on huge power. I need enough to enjoy driving not win races....since I don't race.

Well the weather held til later in the afternoon.Made for a good father son day with my son and his yellow Caymen S. This was our first trip on the new 911 and what a joy it was. My only wish is that I would have got the Ceramic brakes as the brakes make more dust than any car I have ever had. Even my AMG cars make far less dust. My son has the Ceramics on his Caymen and loves the NO Dust.
