All I can say is: I would not order an S if I got the chance right now. When I finally drove the Carrera home yesterday, it blew me away. I would get the base over and over again. There is no need for the big S after the Carrera imho. Don´t get me wrong, I love fast Porsches, but the base is so so good. If you want a faster 991 later on, go straight for the Turbo or GT3, not a "S" The base is plenty fast, trust me.

Good luck !

Good news to me!, I've just cancelled my fully Loaded Carrera S order and bought a Stripped Base, White / Manual/20"s Carrera S wheels /sport seats plus/ Dimming Mirrors, SportDesign Steering Wheel, period.
The car is "in transit" and it should be here in 15 days!

neat...all the best...

I priced out a 991 today at about $88K...base with 7 MT and PASM and PTV and that's about it...

change out my seats (will gt3 seats fit?) and add a roll bar and I got a nice track rat.

Your build is nearly identical to mine except I added XM radio. What interior did you go with? Yachting blue here

You have a great taste sir
My interior is plain boring black, I am planning to add red seatbelts to spice it up.
I love blue interiors, very classic, but didnt have a choice, I bought the car already built.

Interesting comparison, Carrera S vs Carrera, both PDK. Very close results.
Great to know that the base Carrera w/20"is as comfortable as the "S"with PASM.

Sorry to be a pain, but I really would like to read it. I logged onto Rennteam but none of the posts show that subject. Could you please provide the subject of the post.

Thanks
