Sport seats plus...

I'm working on the build for my new base 991 MT DD and have a few hiccups.

I want to keep the total under 94k so I can't have everything. I won't track the car, but I am a serious driver and highly experienced motorcycle racer who rarely exceeds the street speed limit by more than 10% but who can brake and turn with the best of them.

I can only choose two of the following:
SC
Sport Exhaust
Full leather
Vented seats

I'm going for the Sport seats plus either way, but being that I rarely keep cars more than 3 years, I'm concerned about what I want versus resale value. Thoughts?

911 Carrera (Base Model)
Agate Grey Metallic
Black leather interior
ParkAssist (front and rear)
19-inch Carrera wheel (I'd get 18's if I could...)
Wheel center caps with colored Porsche Crest
Automatically dimming mirrors
Seat heating (front) (winter driving)
Sport Seats Plus (I'm 155lbs and 5'8")
Smoking package
Steering wheel heating
Interior Leather
Multi-function steering wheel
SiriusXM(R) Satellite Radio Receiver incl. 3 month trial subscription

SC is useless in a MT and no need for the sport exhaust, get the full leather, you will enjoy it everyday.
I love the idea of a MT stripped base, I wish I had taken that road when I ordered mine.
For resale Í'll take the 20's

SC in MT still gives you dynamic engine mounts and higher PSM threshold, me thinks.

SC does give you the Dynamic Engine Mounts...in my opinion a must have regardless of transmission type.

Truth be told you don't get any of your money back on options on resale. When you trade in your car it will say for example "2009 Carrera, excellent, good, avg, rough" with no regard for options. Essentially they are throwing money away if your idea is focused on resale value. I myself ordered a base , MT car with sport plus seats, XM, and 20 inch wheels ( a decision a now question and going back I may have opted for 19s) and the sport design wheel. Sport Chrono is valuable when combined with PDK , however as someone else pointed out it is useless on a MT car. You might consider the sport design wheel. It's a very reasonably priced option at less than $300 and looks better than the standard wheel. According to my salesman full leather has zero value at resale so get it because you like it not because you think it helps you at resale. I assure you it does not. In fact, the best resale value is just to get a base car with zero options.

Take a good look at full leather, really sharpens up the interior! I frankly think it should be standard at this price point. I agree with others that SC will really help when you decide to sell the car.

Yeah I think I have to go SC and full leather. Thanks for the advice.

I hate the 20" wheels. Both for size as well as the wheel options. Frankly they all look like crap to me. BMW and Audi do a much better job on optional wheels. I'd love a fuchs option (yes and a duck tail) but I'm not paying 6k for Tequipment wheels.

+1 on the Fuch' wheels. I would love those as well as a duck tail too and I also agree that full leather should be standard at this price point. However, why would they give us for free what some are willing to pay extra for.

I find it a positive that full leather is not standard. That would only force those of us who are not that into it to pay for it regardless.
