Hi do you know how to remove rear seat cushion?

Hi I need to do some fixing on my 991S. Do you know how to remove the rear seat cushion? Bottom part? Do they just use velcro to attach its? A simply lift it up process like 997? Thank you.

Don't think too many people have stated doing this with their 991's and you're one of the lucky FEW to have actually received his already.
I'd call me dealer and just ask them.

Good luck.

The rear seat bottom cushions are attached to the rear center tunnel cover... its all one unit. There wasn't any obvious way to remove it without damaging the car.

I looked at the seats at the dealer today. The cushions are velcro as per the 997. There appears to be carpet under there. So if one can get the centerpiece out as well, the seat/tunnel cover/seat combo may very well leave a GT3-style carpeted rear.

Yes, hence my describing it as seat/tunnel cover/seat combo.

What I was trying to say is that he cushions part seem to be attached by velcro only, other than being attached to the center piece. So center piece is the question whether it is possible to snap/screw/pop it out. It would appear that area is all carpeted below for sound proofing.
