2013 991 Aerokit Cup $6000 option
#16
I passed on the aerokit . With the NA 997 I just feel that if one really wanted a race 911 it's time to get either a Gt3 or a Turbo . I do have an aerokit on my Turbo but prefer the 911 S cars more understated rather than trying to make the car something it can never be ( a gt3) .
The GT3 has been testing with two different wings. The one above and another that is similar to the outgoing RS wing. Chances are one will be the GT3 aero and the other will be the RS.

Seems like they are going to have to do something to put down pressure on the nose and currently the PASM S is already near perfect balance and a bigger wing is bound to put more down-force on the rear and relative lift in the front.

aerokit spoiler going up or down?
IMHO, a definite "NO" it is mounted on the part of the 991 that is fixed. 991 spoiler is now a separate unit to the rear of the vented engine compartmentr door.
I agree, get a GT3 or leave it be.........

I was browsing rear shots of 997 cars.

It has some really incredible after market spoilers.
The $6000 option on 991 looks meh in comparison. I don't think many folks would get this. Hope the 991 GT3 is much better and aftermarket ones may have a better chance.

To me, PS has a bluish hue and GT Silver is darker and has a brownish hue. From the picture, I would imagine its PS since its fairly light.
