Rear Badge Mod - Pic's
in the spiirit of old badging i wanted to add an S to the 911 but still keep it clean. i haven't installed it yet, it stuck well on the wet car this morning:
the badge was something i bought for my 996 C4S but i don't remember where or when. it had a notch out of the S for that series and so it brings the S up under the 911 instead of just sitting beside it.

it might be too much in red; i may do it in gloss black or silver. have to think about it.
anyway, i went back to pic's of the 996 C4S back ends and this is a stock shaped S although i can't seem to find any on either suncoast or Bumper Plugs. they all have new emblems.

i think you are actually referring to the script type but not sure?
Anyway it is an S; the sound of the letter just exudes that flowing tail feel Porsche used oi their original rendition C4S.

some better shots - i have a 911 in black from Suncoast, so i am thinking that the 911 in black with the red S may look good.- may paint the S silver as a toned down option:

Suncoast has a red S too but it is bigger than the 991's S. Probably like the one in this thread? It's for a 987.2 Boxster:
