991S with PDCC will never behave as GT3?
Last week I drove my friend's 991s PDK. I was impressed with the new interior, very nice touch features and more gadgets. New PDK is smarter and shifts faster than my 12 Spyder. There is one thing I am not too sure if I want to put down deposit on 991s. 400hp doesn't give me push back to the seat prior to 997 TT ( stick ). It is pretty fast but pretty similar to my M3 MDCT.
Anyway, I assume the PTV is standard on the S. Should I go for PDCC? Will it wear out anything faster? brakes, rotors? PDCC + PASM only has " normal/hard ". It is certainely not enough for hardcore track events. I am buying the 991s as a daily driver and hopefully will do some impressive time on track and enjoy the new 991 Maybe 6 ~ 8 times per year.
2013 GT3 with PDK?
2010 997 turbo PDK has very similar price tag as new 991s. decision decsion

the GT3 is always a different beast to the Carrera.
but it is not really suited/meant as a daily driver and it won`t have all of the creature comforts of the Carrera.
the 997TT is a super nice car but it lacks the sound of the 991, the comfort and the new gizmos.
it´s faster in a straight line but not really on the track and when the 991TT arrives it will be a bit outdated, in and out.
the 991 will be fresh for at least 3.5 years.
"PDCC + PASM only has " normal/hard ". It is certainely not enough for hardcore track events"
why not, a Porsche is meant to be driven hard all the time, a 991 is no exception.
