Scrapes on the undercarriage - Help!
#31
Listen, its hard to scrape the chin spoiler unless you drive straight over ever crappy parking lot entrance or oversized speed bump. You must learn to SLOW DOWN, go over them at an ANGLE, NEVER STRAIGHT ON. If really bad put your sport PASM on that helps as well. This is how I made it over 10,000 miles on my GT3 on the ORIGINAL Chin Spoiler. You SHOULDNT be scraping your Carrera at all! What are you doing!?

Good idea! Wonder why I didn't think of it. Having said that, there are some brutal curbside dips that I'm not sure I'll ever manage to clear even at an angle, glacial pace and with sport suspension setting on.

I took a look under the car today and most of the scraping is on the chin spoiler - the plastic portion that is replaceable. I do see the need for more protection underneath and Dave from Fabspeed had some ideas for low end torque that I would not mind looking into. I need to get some pictures this weekend to send him.
I do take every driveway and entrance at an angle. But, since it is a replaceable plastic part, I am less stressed.
