Question Keyless entry Denied!

Sorry for the bad pun, but so far I have run into these problems with the keyless entry feature of my 991:

1. Driver's side door did not unlock.
Happened 1 time, had to use the key fob to unlock door.

2. Driver's side door unlocked, but alarm went off when opening the door.
1 time, had to close the door, used key fob to lock & unlock door to turn off alarm. Simply pressing unlock on key fob did not work.

3. Key not recognized.
1 time, engine won't start, had to turned the dummy key on & off 2 times to get engine started.

The keyless entry feature on my 08 Lexus is rock solid, never had these problems. I wonder if it is simply software bugs, or the antenna is not sensitive enough. Anyone else with similar experience?

i am sure a visit to the dealer will clear it up.

the problem is that these are intermitten issues that are hard to produce.

they can always set you up with a new key. could be a synching issue.

Did you have your windows tinted recently. Certain metallic window tint will block or reduce signals.

I had the same problem with a 11 CTT.

The dealer had to order new keys and replaced the ignition/key module.

Seems to have solved the problem so far !

I had the problem with a Panamera. It was intermittent, and infrequent at first, but it got worse. The dealer said to switch to the other key and see if it was better. It worked flawlessly so they ordered a new key and when it came in they programmed it and I had no more problems.

It's my daily driver, and I don't have tinted windows. I'll try the other key first, although the latest test drive from Motor Trend also reported the same thing.
