Game change on my 991

My guess is the reason why so many of the base cars are modest is that they lease better . Optioned cars more often are purchased .

991...................
Larry,
I think you made a wise move and agree, you'd want a 991 Turbo when they come out so wait. I've gone back and forth between keeping my 09 Carrera, all blacked out with 10,500 miles , or going with 991. I've decided I'm going 991, have a pretty heavily optioned black on black en route. Full leather, sports chrono, 20" sport wheels with fat 305 rear, 7 sp manny tranny. My 997 is PDK, as much as I like it, for the little I actually drive it, the 7 speed will be a blast. I also have the exhaust option to change exhaust tones..........I would have liked an S but can't justify the additional $$$.
I'm waiting for a ship, going on vacation out of country on June 3rd, hope to get her before........

In the meantime I am so imprssed with the Cayenne . This is a totally new experience to have an SUV and its just so comfortable and practical. the fact that its a huge 2 ton monster yet has Porsche attributes has just blown me away . I had driven the previous gen Cayenne as a loaner but the new one is light years better .
Best wishes with the new black 991 !! If the car is a 2013 I think it may take a bit longer than June . My build slot had become available but the 13 car order had not been placed yet . My 991S would have been a 2013 car.
