Picking up my baby on Saturday

Hi Tachyon,
It is a long story
I placed my order last August to secure the January build.(Maybe due to the RHD, the first batch for HK is January production). Before the end of last year, I changed the exterior color and added PDCC so the PAG put me into February. That's fine for me.
When I checked with my dealer regarding the delivery schedule during the end of February, both of us found out my order still pending. The planned date moved several times. From February, to end of February, to early March, to mid of March and the end of March, and meantime the expected date is always 2-3 weeks beyond the planned ate. Finally, we found out the option "559" is cause the delay. I deleted the option and reschedule the production and my car was built on 29 March. According to my dealer, my car was at the port and awaiting for the vessel to exit Germany on 27th April. Actually, I believed the car was shipped sometime around early May not the end of April since I just receied the letter from my dealer HQ last week to advise me that the estimated arrival in Hong Kong would be approximately on June 8, 2012. Hope I can see my car next week after 10 months of waiting.

Well - here she is!
Man - what a monster - loving it.
Couple small mods already done:
- Side Signals replaced;
- Red S to replace chrome one;
As mentioned, the factory forgot to remove the Aluminum trim - when i saw the car in person, it looks VERY nice. I will probably keep it.

Nope - none of the dealers here were willing to make a deal - no discounts - as a result most of them have several 991's on the lot with no buyers.
Bill Anderson @ Fayetteville Porsche - awesome experience - can highly recommend him.

Thanks. I was at Leith yesterday getting an annual service on my GTS. You are right that they have some 991's that they have had for several months. Performance is the same.

It's funny - the previous guy at Performance said that 'he first had to see how well the car would do before giving any discount' - as a result they are sitting on 6 brand new 991's that soon they'll have to discount before the 2013 model comes in...
I dont mind having the dealers make some money but the attitude is sometimes amazing. I have spent over $400k in the last 3 years in different cars and not once (!) was I able to make a deal with my local dealer - crazy.
