Congrats! Did you buy it from Glen F. over there in BHP?

Isn't it the same PDK between yours and the Panamera Turbo.

Did not get it from Glen. Technically it is the same PDK as the Panamera Turbo, but the shift speed and overall feel is very, very different. I drove the Panamera GTS a few months back and that version is closer to the 991 than the Panamera Turbo tuning. A huge difference...would be terrific if they ever do a PDK update on 2010/11/12 Panamera's to be more like the GTS/991. Totally different feel. Huge improvement.

I thought I'd not like red int, but this changes that perspective! Nice combo, bold statement but a very balanced one.

Silky. Gorgeous car. This is the best 991 that I have seen. This is the kind of car that you see in a showroom and don't leave until you own it. This is how I would spec that car. Then again, I'm on my 4th red interior car so I'm a bit partial.

My wife's 2012 Cayenne does the folding mirror thing when locking by pressing for 1 second on the door handles (Entry & Drive) - same with the remote, holding the 'lock' button down for about 1 second and the mirrors fold in.

yes - our Cayenne and Panamera do this too, when you hold the lock button down. The new 991 with folding mirrors actually has a setting in the PCM that you can choose that when you lock the car (with the entry button or key) the mirrors fold in automatically...no holding...a nice feature, for sure.

I had a 991 cabrio triple black on order, sport design package but my local dealer had a carmine red gts panamera sitting on floor that couldnt get approved by the guy that ordered it...so i had to take it after driving it!! The Pan TT just didnt do it for me-to quick thru the revs, no sound, not very involving and not sinister like the GTS..so i figured id do it the right way and in 2 - 2.5 years give it to the wife and get the 991 ttt...the way it should be!

Great colors, looks like a perfect way to enjoy that SoCal sun. I agree on the improvement of the PDK. I drove a 991S a few weeks ago and was immediately surprised how much better the shifts were, especially at the lower gears.

Enjoy!
