The Porsche Car Configurator

Seems the configurator is down today for updates. I don't suppose that means they are getting ready to release something new does it? Kinda like Apple, they only time their store site is really down is when they release a new product.
It would be great if it was the 4's but I'm sure that's just wishful thinking...

I don't know, but I'm trying to finalize my 991 order and wondering also what will be added. I'm hoping they expand the 991 options to include the Power Kit (I just want to see what $$$ it will end up), and any additional leather/interior options. Maybe a new color or two,...that would be great as I feel the present ones are a bit limited.

I agree. I would love some other interior color options. Especially more two tone options. I was looking at some Cayenne pics and there were a lot more choices, same pith the Panny.

When is the configurator going to be back online? Trying to finalize my order soon but want to see if there are new options!

Wait, its online now. Is there anything new? Maybe another model?

Wait once more, I just got booted out? It crashed on me now again says its being updated. I'm a bit confused..

It is up again here in South Africa.
Not many changes - only new options I can spot that are new are the power kit and door decals.

For this region, the base cost of the "S" has increased by about 4-5%, however all options have reduced in price.

For me this is good news - my build has had an effective price reduction by about 3-4% as the price reductions on my options outweigh the increase in base model cost.

I'm happy. Now I just need to get over this #$%^ waiting period...

Really interested in looking at the changes this morning. Hope its back up here in the US now. I was hoping for color changes but I'd sure welcome a price reduction.

Having a closer look at our pricing...
The base cost has gone up quite a whack - but after talking to my porsche sales guy they say that my base price stays as is but I get the benefit of the cheaper option prices.
There is a small twist:

My order included as standard a three year drive plan (warranty and free maintenance) with the option to purchase another two years if the car was inspected and found good before the three years expired.

The new, more expensive base price changes this to a five year drive plan. I have the option to remain with the previous three year extendable plan and if I do so my base price remains at the older, cheaper price - but all options are priced at the new, lower price so it's a win for me. Not the kind of thing I expected but I am grateful. Perhaps I can find a few more options to spend the savings on...

I just ran thru it real quick this morning. Too busy at work to spend much time right now. Not really seeing a difference here in the US. Base price seems to have remained the same, at least for the cab, and no pricing jumpin out at me with regards to any options pricing. I was hoping for more interior color options but those seem to be the same as well.
Anyone here in the US seeing anything different??

I'm now seeing the Umber interior option. I don't think that was in there previously.

My dealer says that they are up about $1000 on the average car. I'm not sure what's more.

The 4s as a July release is very possible from what my dealer has told me.

leather steering column is now in there - important imo for many non-black interiors imo.
