Don't get the 991 in BLACK!

white feels more inviting...
i went to a dealer and saw almost every color available, right after they got shipments. I asked myself what car would I walk in right now? ...white it was
Of course - it really depends on your personality...
I also love Cream White

Carrara White looks great with its slight hint of gray in it, but it is gone now.
Have you seen the new pure white for 2013?, same color of the 12' Cayenne White which replaced the beautiful 11' Sand White.
Looks washer/drier white to me, No thanks.

However, the racing yellow is also very good at showing the lines. The red less so. Most of the metallic choices are fairly dark so not too much favoured here. The GT silver is the best of the metallic choices.
But it is great that everybody has a different view. Imagine we would all agree on what color is the best. Life would be boring and all our cars would be pink (assuming the wife gets to decide).

basalt black, with it's deep metallic, makes life with a black car much easier. just did a paint sealant followed by a good paste wax and the car looks outstanding especially out in the sunshine.
really liked the dark blue with gray interior but it was the same color combo as the box ster S that I traded in.
no regrets with the black.

For my previous 997.2 and Cayman S black was it!,....both looked awesome.
On my first go-around of color choices for the 991 I was all over white since it does look fantastic on it.
Then among a see of black, white and agate grey 991s at my dealer,.....a Guards Red version suddenly came out of make ready for a customer. I never looked back,...utterly breathtaking and relatively rare, most just can't handle it :-)

I looked at a Black on Black with chrome trim around the windows.
Looked absolutely stunning as it completely highlighted the lines of the car.
It's all in the eye of the beholder..

Agreed. Like black is a muddled mess?!
It more appears that some people clearly just do not "get" black.
Colours of the rainbow are fine and good. However, it is not the average person that can keep a black car looking awesome. It takes extra time, effort and pure unadulterated dedication!
And for those that cannot bare to spend that extra time, effort and pure unadulterated dedication to maintain that little bit of work and attention to have a black car and have it retain its deep pristine gloss and shine, there are "easier" colours of that lovely rainbow to have and to hold and call your own.
