Hi Guys - I own a '05 997 C2S Cabrio with 37K. I found a white 991 Carrera in St. Louis at Isringhausen Imports for 112.6K but it has 550 miles as the owner has been driving it. I offered 60K plus my car to do the deal. what do you guys think. I got about 6K invested in my car with a short shifter and a factory exhaust. Also do think its a good build. Is it missing must have options. The 991 build is as follows :

I would think 60K would do it if your car was in excellent shape.

Thats a great build! love the cosmetic options.
Only thing missing that comes to my mind is PASM, I regret everyday not getting it in my Base, really dont care about the ride quality because its very good compared to a 997 w/PASM, but the ride height, ugh, I hate the huge wheel gap in mine.
Otoh, just saw the pictures of the cab you are interested in, it looks way lower than my coupe, WTH??

 

I too feel it's too good a deal to pass up on. Thus the agony. 60K to upgrade to a 991 and 7yrs seems like a awesome deal. Other than PASM anything else. I was thinking sports exhaust but every owner of the 991 feels factory exhaust on the 991 is comparable or better to the sports exhaust on the 997.

 

Looks like a great car. Go for it.

 

PASM is standard on the "S", so you will have it on this car.
