My build is July 24th and I went with the sport design package, including lowered modified front end and baby whale tail. Anyone seen one live yet ? Worried about warning that "ground clearance significantly lower"- but I love the look !

I am planning on doing something very similar only in a coupe.

Yes ground clearance will be an issue and you will rub the spoiler from time to time. The good thing is that it is reparable for not too big of a hit.

 

How low it becomes compared to the c2s without the option?

 

No spec given, guessing about 2 inches strictly based on the pics in the configurator. Also looks like no sacrificial rubber lip under it as with standard.

That is the "ONLY" way I would order the car...Looks Fantastic!!! I have a feeling their will be a lot of these cars driving around with this package

 

I have the GT3 package on my current 997 and I do think it makes it a little more 'special'.

I personally think that the sport design package is perfect for the 991s. The Aerokit Cup looks too much like the GT3 and the Turbo kits. People will think that you are driving a GT3 and not a S. Why do you want your 991 S to look like a GT3? I would rather buy a GT3 second hand with 20.000km on the clock and save the money. It’s like these guys on M3post buying a 335i and changing it to look like a M3?! Enjoy your weekend guys!
