991S tune: anyone getting close?
I have not heard yet of any vendor that would be ready with a tune for the 991(S). Would be great if we could get some visibility about ETA's. Vendors and other members, please chime in if you know more!

Serge, would you really want to tune a car this new (and without first upgrading the intake and exhaust?
IMHO in any case it's not worth the risk both re warranty and general unintended consequences on a car where the ECU is controlling so many variables (PTV, PDCC, PASM, PDK etc etc)...

I have done headers w/sports cat and air filter so far. I am not convinced that the intake is a real bottleneck on the 991S but we will see when more serious products get on the market.
I imagine that people working on software are able to only address the engine mapping and leave all the rest untouched, but I will certainly wait for a trusted tuner to come up with something... and let someone else be the guinea pig this time. Once the de-bugging phase will be complete, I'll go for it. I am not worried about the engine itself since a tune will not dramatically change the output of a naturally aspirated engine and am also looking forward to have the software option to avoid CEL's in case I go catless (or when the sports cat eventually throws a CEL).

Good question indeed, but I have always liked to experiment

That's great to hear Tom I'm very interested in a tune as I'm running my car with catless headers and fabspeed x pipe , fabspeed intake and have (not installed yet) the new ipd plenum ! Please let us know as you can

I'd love to tune out some of the lumpiness of the 991 power curve. The Cargraphics X pipe certainly helps but there is still a bit of it. The tune I had on my 997.2 helped smooth out the power curve, which I liked quite a bit.

I strongly suspect that the bushings and geometry changes up front make more of a difference than the actual software on the assist.

You mean upgrading the exhaust doesn't void warranty???
