PSE, H & R Spings and Spacers
Well, after a week of ownership of my first Porsche, the mod bug has gotten me! Looking for insight on the following;
PSE - my car doesn't have it and I can buy the complete OEM kit from Suncoast for $2,500, which seems reasonable to me. How much time / $$$$ can I expect to spend to get a dealer to add it to my car? Has anybody done it?
H & R Lowering Springs - Stance is everything, right! Simple question, do they negatively affect the ride quality in normal mode? I have the Sport Chrono and PASM suspension, so I expect a harder ride in Sport Plus mode and not worried about that. Car is a week-end toy and not wanting to bounce around when normal driving.
Spacers - Do they somehow negatively affect the axle / hub bearing life? I always get a kick from the rice-rocket crowd with their hideous wide wheels and it looks to me like it would put an unbelievable load on the inner part of the bearing & race. I'm looking at 7mm rear and 5mm front.
Thanks for your input and I promise I will actually contribute rather than just seek advise as I gain experience with my car!

-if you are looking for something that adds more sound and performance, you may want to go aftermarket vs. PSE. This being said, I have PSE myself and it sounds good. I then installed new headers and removed side mufflers.
-H&R Springs: bought mine from SpeedArt but they are basically the same. Great stance, a little firmer with improved handling. No major degradation of comfort. Go for it!
-Spacers: have run 5mm Porsche spacers on my last 2 cars, no issues.
Hope it helps.

Why don't you skip the spacers part and go for a new set of wheels that will check all the boxes and give you the best possible looks? I'm sure we could come up with a custom forged wheel setup, probably lighter than stock, with the specifications done correctly based on the new lowering springs and/or kit and the width increase you want to have.

With the muffler bypasses installed, you would not hear much difference with the PSE On or off and I almost got kicked out of th etrack during the quiet hour last Sunday (but many people were )

Dropping car off at Hennessy on 10/29 for PSE & springs install. Not going with spacers based on dealer's advice. Apparently sport techno wheels are wider than other Porsche wheels. We'll see!
Can't wait for aural pleasure on sport plus, rev matched downshifts.
