The Marina Ace has now disappeared off of the Marine Traffic website. On the Vessel Finder site, it still shows it out of range and heading toward Brunswick. (At 7:00AM CST, 9/24) Maybe the sites don't show the ships while in port?
Billy, I think the ship moored last night and they turned off their AIS transmitter. The last transmission appears to be yesterday. I can only assume that it is docked or that its waiting to dock. The latter seems unlikely.

Calling the port would give us the correct information.

@Billyii, my car isn't on their online inventory, if that's what you mean. But it in on their own reports as on vessel on the Marina Ace.

Mine also has not appeared on the dealers online inventory. I assume it only does once its cleared customs and entered as inventory by PCNA.

Nice! Thanks for calling.

Tell them if they see a nice Platinum Silver 991 or a Carmine Red 970, to take extra care of them.

EDIT: BTW, AIS now shows the ship moored there as well. So triple confirmation now for us neurotic buyers.

Neurotic is quite right! I just don't understand the excitement. I've had a bunch of P cars and NEVER got this way about them. It's either age or being without one for a year. Madness!

Now to get the cars to the dealer.... hmmmm who to pester?

Apologies to other forum members for is banter.

I think that's it. I sold my GT3 about 8 months ago. I need a hit bad! I actually test drove 991s last weekend just to get a little hit.

My son still doesn't understand why we can't just drive down there tonight and get her.

Realize (like I didn't) that it takes them a long time to unload the cars and go through customs; maybe 7-10 days. It kind of depends where yours gets in the line. But the best news is it made it to the next step.

My dealer says they need 1 day to prep the car when they get it. I have them adding the SPASM front lip, clear side markers and installing bumper plugs from the euro delivery plate holes. The dealer is 90 miles from Brunswick... I know I am being optimistic, but hoping for a saturday delivery!

Many dealers have liaison person at the port and can identify a particular car and where it is in the unload / customs process. Perhaps they could help you identify its exact status. Good luck!!

I too sold my GT3 a year ago and it's been tough since then. I guess we're somewhat smitten and addicted.

Your son is entirely correct! Pure logic.

Chuck, you are of course correct. It's likely to take a few days before the dealer gets the car. We can but hope that e cars get on to the trailer pronto and into our clammy hands by the weekend.

My dealer knows to call me the moment the trailer arrives at the dealership! A few hours later and hopefully it'll be in my garage. All they need to do is plonk on the clear markers and next week ill get the hood and stuff clear filmed.

I can't wait to see pictures of fellow shipmates/cars.

I get a kick out of reading all these posts reflecting the excitement and anticipation that you guys are experiencing. You work hard, are successful and now are reaping the rewards - one of those great "toys" that every man needs to have!

Alan,

Thanks for the post. We do act like ten year olds a week before Christmas, or at least I do. The correct word is probably "wants" and not "needs".

Have a good day.

What a lovely post Alan. Not everyone takes pleasure in other people's joy or understands the reasons for our indulgences. Thank you for the kind words.

I just got a message from my dealer stating that the car got offloaded has already been processed and along with three other vehicles scheduled for the same dealership, is waiting assignment to a truck! The chances of it being at the dealership in a day or so are good.

Getting close now!
