OK, for those of us expecting the car to arrive in Houston, according to vesseltracker.com, the Marina Ace just left Brunswick - 16 minutes ago, or around 10:40pm EDT.

I read somewhere else that these ships typically stays in port for less than 24 hours as it cost a lot more money for them to stay longer, so it seems that Marina Ace was on that schedule.

 

Yup it does look like its on its way to Houston. Quick in and out of port keeps to costs down. I wonder how many cars in total they offloaded in a Brunswick.

 

My car is on a transporter heading to the dealer ! Should be with them today. I'm going to head to the candy store in a while !!!

 

Just got word that the dealer 'expects' my car to arrive on the transporter today in Jacksonville as well. I hope they are right! I will likely only pick it up on Saturday as the kids don't want to miss the delivery! (and I have a few items I need installed before delivery) I am on a flight back from Mexico now, but may need to stop by and just SEE it again for a few minutes good day!

My son wants to be there, too, but on the other hand he says if I can get the car on Friday on my way home, then I can take him to his football game Sat morning in it. So I'll let him decide, assuming the car gets to the dealer tomorrow as expected.

 

Dealer just emailed me a picture of the new baby arriving on the truck! It's here, finally. I left it on July 28th in Stuttgart, it's been a brutal wait!

 

I arrived at the dealer and my car was being offloaded! Hooray. They are preping it and I drive it home in a few hours. I'm going to watch the tech do his stuff! Exciting!!!
