Sounds similar to the symptoms in my car. If, while the sunshade was retracted, I pressed the headliner in the upper left corner, I could get the rattle to stop. The tech didn't mention a brace, just fasteners that had to be insulated.

Just like mine......exactly the same issue.....headliner rattles all the time....
I got my car last week, only have done 500miles on it.....
so annoying......As long as I open the top or put pressure on the upper-left side of the headliner it disappear, but it comes back really soon.....
Has anyone know if Porsche's going to make a recall or any official statement about this issue?

Exactly the same for me. Can't believe Porsche hasn't fixed this on new orders. My car, a '13, was built in July. I took delivery in September.

Love ur plate!

It was built about that time period too.. Mine was delivered on Nov. I took it to the dealer, they told me that they have fixed one 991 with the same issue before. They said they have to take the whole roof out...
I just left....

I hear you. I'm afraid to have them touch it. Ridiculous that they have to disassemble the roof on a new car. I figure I'm either going to live with it or wait for them to get more experience fixing this problem before they fix mine.

As an alternative, the dealer suggested me to get the sport exhaust. In that case, i might not able to notice the rattle at all. lol
So regret that I haven't choose the sport exhaust at the first place.

I'm happy with the sunroof.

Mine almost sounds like the wind deflector is bouncing around when the roof is closed. I'm not hearing any 'creaks' but more like a soft rattling on the driver side of the sun roof. I'm going in tomorrow and have them look at it. I'll let you all know next week if they find anything. I'll also be looking to see if anybody finds something too.
